Flash and Transmitter, All in One

Featuring an integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver, the FJ80-SE flash unit can be used both as a flash and transmitter when mounted on-camera. Control FJ400 and FJ200 strobes, FJ-XR receivers, and off-camera FJ80 speedlights directly from the hot shoe. Off-camera, the FJ80-SE serves as a client speedlight. It can be triggered via an on-camera mounted FJ80, FJ-X3, or FJ-X2 Wireless Triggers. The FJ80-SE M is also compatible with Canon RT devices, including 600 EX-RT, 430 EX-RT, and EL-1.

With the FJ80-SE speedlight, experience unparalleled color temperature stability at 6500K (±200K) throughout its entire 9-stop output range in flash increments of either 0.1 or 1.0 stops. This ensures consistent color accuracy in your images throughout your entire shoot. A gel and magnetic ring are included for 5500K environments.

Articulating Portable Flash with Versatile Mounting Options

Flexibly tilt and rotate the speedlight for complete freedom and control. This portable flash head provides 360° horizontal and 90° vertical pivot ranges. Mount the FJ80 off-camera via the cold shoe or use the included shoe stand to make it free-standing. The shoe stand is equipped with a 1/4”-20 female thread for mounting to most light stands with no additional hardware required. Pair with a FJ80 Speedlight Insert (sold separately) for use with the Rapid Box Switch line of portable softboxes.

Compatible with Optional Light Control & Mounting Accessories

Easily attach the 80Ws speedlight to a Rapid Box Switch softbox or beauty dish light modifier using the all-metal FJ80 Switch Insert (sold separately). For secure and precise mounting on any light stand, use the Adjustable Shoe Mount Speedlight Bracket. This bracket with tilter and umbrella receptacle pairs with any standard photo umbrella and umbrella-based softbox. Create direct, hard beam of light with high contrast for any style of photography using the all-metal snoot with Honeycomb Grid (sold separately). The FJ80 speedlight also offers a Diffusion Dome (sold separately) that creates a broad, 360-degree light source and accepts FJ80 color gels for changing the color of an entire space.
