The Westcott FJ400 is a portable 400Ws AC/DC strobe that boasts an impressive 480+ full-power flashes per charge and a recycle speed of under a second at full power. It offers unmatched performance with the most accurate color temperature throughout its entire 9-stop output range. The flash can be triggered using the Westcott FJ-X2m Universal Wireless Trigger or Canon RT system (available separately).

The FJ400 Strobe features a user-friendly menu system and LCD color display, along with Manual and TTL Flash Modes, High Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, Freeze Sync up to 1/19000s, Continuous Capture up to 20 fps, Mask Function, Delay Function, and Automatic Memory Recall. The removable lithium polymer battery provides both DC power for on-location freedom and AC trickle-charge performance when the state of charge is above 25%.

Maintaining a color temperature stability of 5500K (±150K) throughout its entire 9-stop output range, the FJ400 strobe offers flash increments of either 0.1 or 1.0 stops. It also includes a 20W 5600K LED modeling lamp with auto-adjust and independent output control for added versatility and control. Safety features include onboard self-monitoring cooling fans and an automatic shutoff feature to ensure safe operation during use.
